Original music · Unreleased
Finished music,
unfinished games.
Most game projects do not reach a storefront. The audio was still written, mixed and delivered. So here are three cues from games that stopped, paused, or only ever existed for one jam weekend.
Three games, three cues.
Step through them. Each one plays in full from the mixed master. Nothing is cut down to a highlight.
Why keep them up at all
A portfolio that only shows shipped titles says more about luck than about work. Teams run out of time, money or agreement, and none of that changes whether the music did its job: a menu that sets a tone, a loop that holds for an hour, an 8-bit cue that stays cheerful without becoming shrill.
Each of these is the version that was handed over. Nothing has been re-recorded or touched up for the website.
Written for a weekend, too
The jam work lives on its own page: Jester's Symphony, scored between Friday and Sunday at Game Jam Dornbirn. Writing to that clock is its own skill. There is no second pass, so the first idea has to be the one that works.
Your game does not have to be finished.
A rough build says more about pacing and feel than a document does. Placeholder art and missing systems are the normal starting point here.
