Global Game Jam 2026 · inDIdev Vorarlberg
Breach Protocol
A social survival game about oxygen, arithmetic and the moment a group stops behaving like a group. Built in Godot over one jam weekend.
The game
The pitch, in the team's own words: "Breach Protocol is a high-tension social survival game where oxygen is the ultimate prize. Trapped on a crumbling station with a dwindling air supply, you have minutes to secure a mask, but there's a catch: the math never favors the group."
Everything had to exist by the end of the weekend: a station that sounds like it is failing, a countdown you feel before you read it, and enough audio identity that players trust the fiction within seconds of loading in.
The jam constraint
A jam removes the option of iterating your way to quality. Decisions have to be right early: which moments carry the tension, which sounds can be reused across states, and what gets cut so the rest can be finished properly.
The team's own note on the entry page is the part worth repeating: "No AI was used. Everything Handcrafted from Art to Sound."
One theme, three states.
From the jam mixdown folder: the same material as an intro, as the main loop, and as the version that plays when the air is nearly gone.
